Diarrhea—Activated Charcoal Poultice for Severe Diarrhea

Diarrhea—Activated Charcoal Poultice for Severe Diarrhea

GEORGIA’S STORY

Georgia, only 59 years old, is disabled from a number of health problems, one being that she has pain in her feet and cannot stand for even short periods of time nor can she sit for long periods of time either, therefore she can no longer work outside the home. She is determined however, to take good care of what health remains by eating organically, taking supplements and treating herself with natural remedies.

Late August, she believes that she was done in by some fresh greens that she ate.  She came down with a violent case of Diarrhea. During her research, she found our web site and called us and ordered 28 oz. of charcoal powder. The powder helped, but she had to take so much each day before the diarrhea would stop. This went on for almost three months!

The first time that Georgia called Kimberly talked to her at length and suggested that she make a charcoal poultice. She said that she could not be on her feet that long, that it just wasn’t possible for her to do it. Kimberly told her that often times that, for some people with severe diarrhea, taking charcoal internally does not work nearly as well as a poultice. Yet she said she had no one to help her. How we wished we lived near her, yet she was more than a 1,000 miles away.

She of course had to order more charcoal powder as she was up to 20 tablespoons and more each day just to keep the runs away!  Each time we talked we told her about the poultices.  Anyway, one day she called and talked to John.  He too told her about the poultices.  She said that she had given up on the charcoal, tried an over the counter drug, but that didn’t do the trick and she knew that it was harmful to her so she was back to taking the charcoal powder. Finally, after talking with John, she decided that she was just going to make herself stand long enough to make a poultice and see if that would help. She really didn’t realize how quickly a poultice can be made.  Hearing or reading how to make a charcoal poultice can sound a bit strange or overwhelming, but it is really very easy, simple and quick to make and this Georgia found out.

That very evening, she made a poultice and placed it over her abdomen. The very next morning, her diarrhea was gone!  WOW!! She made another *poultice for the next evening and you guessed it, Georgia’s diarrhea was history. She just had to call us and tell us the good news, she was so happy!!  It seems she said that she was going to do this for at least a week to make sure it didn’t come back!  ☺

We have found this true for ourselves as well. Not too long ago, Kimberly too had a bout of severe diarrhea and her stomach was just gurgling. “I took some charcoal powder, but it wasn’t really doing it for me. So that evening I made a big, sloppy warm charcoal poultice, placed it on my abdomen and went to bed. By morning my stomach was calm and quiet.  Amazing, charcoal did it again!”

*Georgia used psyllium seed husk powder as a jelling agent to make her charcoal poultice then applied the poultice directly onto her skin, covered it with plastic to keep it moist, and then covered that with a dry towel.

This book was an awakening for me. While reading it, I was seriously skeptical, but decided to give it a try. Ordered charcoal powder and capsules and I am happy to say I was amazed at the benefits of both. Excess gas and stomach discomfort, was eliminated by the capsules. I had been considering knee replacement surgery, but here again I was delightfully pleased. Made a poultice for my knee and within minutes the pain was gone, and it stayed gone until two days later. I am in the process of rebuilding knee cartilage with help from healthmasters.com. God has given us everything we need, but that need doesn't include pharmaceuticals, which are man made poisons. Choose wisely.

There are lots of testimonials and valuable information in this book so for me it was worth buying. It does require time and some imagination depending on your medical situation. As a reference guide this book is very helpful. I like the fact that it can be used for treating food poisoning, acid indigestion, drug overdoses, snake bites, filtering water. The list goes on. I have been experimenting with ac for the past few months. I just haven't figured out how to get rid of my sinus infection completely. I did get rid of my ear infections with tiny ac poultices that I made from tea bags that were cut down to size. I found the websites mentioned in this book to be full of testimonials also worth reading so I could get ideas on what else I can use ac for. I love this book and have read is through and then referred to it countless times. It has saved our family lots of money on doctor visits and traditional medications. We have learned from it how to treat some serious medical conditions (staph infection, brown recluse spider bites, red wasp stings, food poisoning etc.) and less serious conditions (stomach flu, eczema, stomach problems etc.) The book is fascinating as well as extremely useful and maybe even life saving! This is an excellent read and every home should have a copy of this very important book that could save your life in a emergency. I give this book 5 stars all the way and a strong recommendation to buy.

John Dinsley has taken the wisdom and knowledge from his own experiences as well as the other books on the subject and condensed it into one book. Covers all uses internal and external. Explains what it is and isn't used for. How it works different forms and how it extends beyond health into many other areas. Shares historical background and uses of it. Clearly states that Charcoal is still a mystery to be revealed. Gets down to explaining what to do when you dont have the "store bought" on hand and how charcoal is everywhere just use your common sense. Valuable are all the stories interweaved throughout the book that illustrate its uses. Great book. A keeper in the library. One of the best holistic health care books on my shelf. It is thorough. It is enough detail without too much. Just right. This is an excellent read and every home should have a copy of this very important book that could save your life in a emergency. I give this book 5 stars all the way and a strong recommendation to buy.
